Many people have been translated (become saved) into the new kingdom, but still function as if they are in the old kingdom. Why? We can read our Bibles, pray, and even go to church (our work/responsibility) without allowing the key, the Holy Spirit, to move in us and around us (growing into the New Kingdom)! That is a real transformation! We should be open, renew our minds, and pursue transformation as spiritual growth, by seeking the Holy Spirit. When seeking the Holy Spirit, we should do so, w...

According to the notes and scriptures referenced, translation is confessing, believing, and receiving the gift (Matthew 10:32; Acts 8:37; Ephesians 2:8). Transformation takes action and effort on the believer's part that requires significant change. Believers have to be both doers and hearers of the word (James 1:22). Their heart has to be committed and it cannot just be lip service given; therefore the biggest obstacle of the process is the renewing of the mind because it is not a one time proc...

On my spiritual journey, I had a transformation challenge where I couldn't stay focused when it came to time to pray. As it came time to pray many things come to my mind to interrupt me. These were things that could wait example: the washer stopped, or the phone is ringing nonsense stuff. The scripture Romans 12:2 helped me a lot. These distractions were a big obstacle in my transformation process, because as believers this is one of the ways we communicate with God and God with us.

In my spiritual growth walk my biggest obstacle to the transformation process were my thoughts. I was unable to stop overthinking, to the point I was making myself anxious. I believe that is a challenge that other believers may have as well to be reminded that renewing of the mind is needed daily. Romans 12:2 KJV tells us, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Why does the tr...

Transformation is hard and requires consistency and accountability. It is like shedding your old self when old parts of you want to hang on. The flesh is always warring with the spirit because they are like oil and water. In Romans 7:19 it says for the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. It takes strength and determination to press through to do the right things. Not staying close to God’s word creates difficulty in the transformation proce...

The biggest obstacle to the Transformation process for believers is the renewing of the mind. Renewing the mind involves replacing worldly ideas, thoughts and imaginations with the Word of God. It also involves abandoning self-laws and coming out of agreement with them. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. To do this takes discipline a...

Over my years of spiritual development, I have encountered many obstacles. One of the things that I frequently struggled with was feeling as if I never gained ground in the spirit. It appeared that as soon as I had a breakthrough, something inevitably would come behind the victory and knock me further behind. It seemed I was always starting over. I sought the Lord to discover why this was occurring. The Father, in His loving kindness, revealed to me that I had to be developed in the spirit by th...
